IN THE PUBLIC EYE
A bi-annual exhibition involving a collaboration between MASI (Museo d’arte della Svizzera italiana) and the EOC (Ospedale Regionale di Lugano). Works of art from the museum collection will be hung in the entrance and first floor area of the Ospedale Civico in Lugano. The project will be curated by a supporting commission comprised of the MASI director, project director, a hospital staff member, an artist, an art advisor and a further member from the public sector. It will open January 2017.
PARCO DEL LAVEGGIO / DESIGN
One of the 33 projects selected by the Swiss Confederation for the program “Modellvorhaben Nachhaltige Raumentwicklung” (2014-2018). It aims to re-naturalize the area along the small river Laveggio, an area hard-pressed by industrial development. With the creation of a continuous recreation zone it tries to create a shared understanding for protection among three different communes. PROJECT DESCRIPTION_Parco del Laveggio. The project is managed by the citizen association Cittadini per il Territorio and a collaborative study among the studio Trifolium, the academic research institution LabTi and the interdisciplinary studio codesigners. THE ROLE OF RELATIONALITY IN URBAN TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES / RESEARCH
The interdisciplinary research project involved the disciplines architecture, economics and organizational science. Financially supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) it proposes to work with the hidden rather invisible notions of space, such as memories and emotions, whilst managing urban projects.
